About Island Photographers

Island Photographers is an artist-led, voluntary initiative dedicated to supporting and promoting contemporary photography in Ireland. Through talks, exhibitions, publications, and international collaborations, we aim to create opportunities for artists, encourage dialogue, and strengthen photography’s role within Irish visual culture.

Since 2023, we have hosted regular artist talks, published our first large-format publication Brionglóid, and collaborated with organisations such as the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), Circulation(s) Festival in France, and partners internationally, including upcoming exhibitions in Miami.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for support to help expand our activities and community.
