Presented by the RHA in collaboration with Island Photographers
11 September – 26 October 2025
This autumn, the Royal Hibernian Academy presents A R C H I P E L A G O, the largest group photography exhibition in the RHA’s history. Curated by Davey Moor, it features seventeen intergenerational artists exploring the breadth of lens-based culture in Ireland today.
Photography in Ireland is enjoying a pivotal moment, and this exhibition reflects that energy, from poetic observations of the everyday to reflections on altered landscapes, identity, borders, and belonging.
The show is produced in collaboration with Island Photographers, an artist-led collective dedicated to raising the voice of Irish photography, building community, and expanding public engagement with the medium. All eight members will present work in the exhibition, alongside a programme of talks and events.
